Strategic Alliance Manager

Strategic Partnerships are a key part of JazzHR’s growth strategy to enable partners to drive hiring success for small and mid-sized businesses. Based in Waltham, MA, the Strategic Alliance Manager is responsible for developing, and managing relationships with leading providers in the SMB space that are delivering solutions for growth, management, and success for their clients. This is a ground floor opportunity on a new team that is tasked with delivering high growth results for the company. This role is a mix of strategic planning & tactical execution and the successful candidate will be a dynamic multi-tasker, who loves building things, and gets the job done. 

The ideal candidate will have a track record for success in managing Go To Market plans, and sales cycles with partners as well as developing the overall business relationship with partners towards future opportunities.

This role will include travel up to 25% of time.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with existing Alliance Partners to establish sales and marketing plans that exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop relationships with existing Alliance Partners and collaborating on new business initiatives between both organizations. 
  • Enable partners to maximize sales & increase partner potential through sales training & support
  • Lead, build, manage and review business and marketing plans with the partners on a scheduled basis.
  • Drive virtual cross functional teams to execute based on business plans and go to market plans as it relates to the assigned partners
  • Resolving conflict with regards to account coverage, billing, etc.
  • Identifying new opportunities & directions for the Alliance Partners and other JazzHR Partner Programs

Experience and Personal Skills We Are Looking For:

  • Possess 5-7 years of partner management experience, including a history of exceeding quarterly and annual targets. 
  • Have stories to share about how you've used your creativity and were able to launch a new initiative with a partner that met stated revenue goals. 
  • Experience selling to Small and Medium businesses, or developing partnerships with other companies in the SaaS industry
  • Be capable of presenting to an audience and communicate passion and confidence on concepts related to small businesses. 
  • Training and/or skills in conflict management and negotiation are desirable
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with HR and/or recruiting topics
  • Sales training certification
  • Energetic personality
